Couples in which both members attend church are more likely to say that they often pray together. We [also] found that shared prayer is the most powerful religious predictor of relationship. The former head of cancer research at Amgen, Glenn Begley, said, in 2012, Amgen tried to replicate the findings of 53 "landmark" studies in cancer biology. Just 6 of them (11%) came up with positive results. He blames these failures on some systematic problems in the literature, not just in cancer research but all of biomedicine. Thought diversity is necessary for creativity, innovation, attacking problems from all angles and identifying more solutions.
